The Catherine Cobb Domestic Violence Shelter is always in need of items required for the daily lives of its residents. You can find a list of ongoing needs here.  Currently the Shelter residents' biggest needs are:

  • Non-Perishable Food Items
  • Towels
  • Pillows

These items can be dropped off at any time at 220 North Main Street in Adrian, and don't forget that all donations to Family Counseling & Children's Services and the Catherine Cobb Domestic Violence Shelter are tax-deductable.  From all of us, Thank-You in advance for your generosity in helping to meet the needs of our Shelter residents.

National Children's Awareness Month

It's National Children's Awareness Month. Do you know of a child who is dealing with stress, depression or anxiety? Are family problems hampering your child's ability to cope with life? Family Counseling and Children's Services has experienced clinical therapists ready to help! We provide individual and family counseling. Contact us at 517-265-5352 to set up an appointment. We accept many insurance plans (including some Medicaid). If a family is without insurance coverage, we can arrange a sliding scale fee.
