Anger Management Therapy Group

About the program:

  • Like love and joy, anger is a basic human emotion.
  • Unresolved anger is bad for your mental and physical health.
  • Chronic anger can jeopardize your job, and your relationships.

Groups follow a 12 session cycle. Participants may start attending groups at any time, but they must complete all 12 sections to complete the group. Interventions used will include visuals, written handouts, and open discussions. Therapeutic interventions are based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational theory.
Participants completing the anger management program should be able to:
  • Describe components of anger
  • Understand roadblocks to communication and impact of body language
  • Practice relaxation techniques
  • Manage anger in a healthier way

About the facilitator:
